SelectPhoto

FAQ

The maximum number of photos in an album is theoretically unlimited. However, a maximum of 1000 photos can be uploaded in a single batch, so for larger numbers of photos, it is necessary to upload them multiple times.

There is no 100% reliable way to prevent downloading photos displayed in the browser, because people can always take a screenshot of the photo displayed, for example. To protect photos from unauthorized use, we recommend applying a watermark to the photo, which can be done automatically directly in SelectPhoto with the paid plan.

Password protected album access is not supported by SelectPhoto, as all created albums are considered non-public and require a special code to view them, which is part of the album address and unique for each selection.

It is possible to upload photos in JPG and PNG format. RAW formats are not currently supported.

There is no need to reduce the size of the photos, as they will be automatically reduced to the maximum size of 1600 x 1600 during upload. However, if you resize the photos in your graphics editor, you can speed up the upload process.

To do this, we recommend using the Share Album feature in the Album Actions tab of Album Management. Here you can copy the link, which you can then share, for example, to a Facebook group and have it spread by the clients themselves. After opening the link, clients will be prompted to enter their email and other details. Once these have been filled in, the album will be added to the clients and a link to open the album itself and instructions on how to select photos will be sent to the client's email.
